Pre-School
Markham Woods Presbyterian Pre-school is dedicated to providing a Christian based pre-school experience for the children of our congregation, and children of the surrounding communities. The pre-school is an extension of the children's ministries of Markham Woods Presbyterian Church. With emphasis on God's love, our pre-school strives to be a witness to the church's commitment to nurturing children and their families.
Our curriculum establishes a foundation for kindergarten. Readiness skills are incorporated into an environment, which is conducive to social skill development. Our curriculum encourages enthusiasm for learning, a positive self-image, and an understanding of the love of God.
There are CDA certified teachers in each classroom and low teacher/pupil ratio. The classes range from 20 months of age to 4 years of age. Children are required to be age 2, 3, or 4 by September 1 of that school year. We follow the Seminole County school calendar as closely as possible.
